Melissa Scotton

Assistant Professor of Art, Shepherd University

Melissa Scotton is an Assistant Professor of Art at Shepherd University where she teaches a variety of graphic design courses. When Melissa isn't teaching she is creating designs and illustrations for businesses of all sizes. She has designed board graphics for Roxy Snowboards and outerwear for Grenade Gloves. Melissa's snowboard graphics were featured in the halfpipe competition during the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Torino, Italy; including one used by bronze medalist Kjersti Buaas. Gold medalist Torah Bright also rode on a snowboard with graphics designed by Melissa at the 2007 Winter X Games, in Aspen, Colorado. Melissa has also created web sites, apparel, catalogs, posters, and other design goodies for small businesses and individuals.
