Graphic Designer
Mary Ann a graduate of Shepherd University's College of Fine Arts, where she earned her BFA in graphic design. Over the span of her career, she has worked with a variety clients, in a diverse array of industries from the corporate sector to the performing arts.
Before returning to her hometown of Frederick, she held lengthy tenures at two top DC ad agencies. While working as lead art director, she was responsible for concept, design and production of ad campaigns, exhibit graphics, re-branding of established products, and the creation of television commercials. Mary Ann has received more than 60 local, regional and national awards for her advertising and graphic design. Her work has been featured in HOW, Communication Arts, Print and ADWeek Magazine.
Mary Ann feels fortunate to have worked on such high-profile accounts such as Iceland Air Airlines, Marriott International, Ritz Camera Centers, and RiteAid Pharmacys, but she feels her "true calling" is helping the small-business/non-profit sector achieve success and has helped do so with clients such as Guide Dogs of America, Cakes for Cause and The American Red Cross.
