Lisa Gorham
Senior Designer, Jean Peterson Design
A native of Toronto, Canada and honors graduate of George Brown College of Applied Arts and Technology, Lisa played an integral role in Ontario's design community, working for Pronk & Associates Art and Design Studio before moving to the United States in 2004. Before joining Jean Peterson Design in 2007, Lisa served as creative director and graphic designer at Garbo Design House in Frederick. Lisa's work has been recognized at the New York Book Shows, the prestigious American Graphic Design Awards, as well as receiving numerous Gold and Silver ADDYs from the American Advertising Federation - Greater Frederick, including the 2010 Best of Show award.
Lisa served four years on the AAF-GF's board of directors, having co-chaired 2 ADDY Awards, serving as Program Director, Public Service Director, and Treasurer Officer. Lisa was awarded a US Army Freedom Team Salute Commendation and a certified United States flag flown over a US operating base in Afghanistan in honor of Lisa's and the AAF-GF's tireless efforts for the troops. In 2010, Lisa was named "Top People to Watch" by Frederick Magazine and this past February was honored with the AAF-GF's Crystal Prism award for long-standing service to the ad club and contributions to the community. Lisa is currently enrolled in the 2010/11 Frederick County Leadership Program through the Chamber of Commerce and continues to serve on numerous volunteer committees for local non-profits.
