Derek began at Wood Street in 2003 and in 2006 became a company partner. His daily duties include the full spectrum of the web design industry including web development and design, interactive Flash-based presentations, graphic design and client training. In addition, he is an expert in search engine optimization, Section 508 compliance and website auditing. He has been an adjunct professor at Frederick Community College, is an Adobe Certified Dreamweaver Developer, an Adobe Certified Flash designer and has won several awards for both web design and interactive media.
